Before I became a photographer, I became a mother. I know what it means to look into the face of your tiny baby, just seconds old, and feel the gravity of your entire universe shift to put that child at the center. Those first days are such a wonderful blur of excitement, exhaustion, and wishes fulfilled, and as hard we try to hold onto those sweet moments and keep our babies little forever, we can’t.

That is why I am a photographer.

I can’t keep them small enough to hold in your arms forever, but I can create portraits that will allow you to relieve those fleeting days. The days when your baby fit perfectly in her daddy’s palm and her favorite place in the world was nustled against your chest. Photographs that are tangible proof of the fierce love and deep devotion that only a mother can understand.
